Seminar 3- Regulatory Trends and Third Party Funding Sources for Contaminated Sites
This seminar summarizes the current regulatory climate associated with contaminated real properties in California. Trends associated with the EPA, DTSC, and SWRCB will be emphasized. Attendees will learn strategies for addressing expensive clean-up goals. Additionally, the presenters will review third-party funds that are available to responsible parties for site remediation. Such third-party sources include government grants/loans, older insurance policies, other potentially responsible parties, niche investors, and banks that are familiar with contaminated site investments.
