Cousins Maine Lobster brings the tradition and quality of Maine’s iconic lobster industry to California. We are proud to serve fresh, sustainably harvested lobster product directly from Maine’s icy cold waters to consumers on the West Coast.

Cousins Sabin Lomac and Jim Tselikis grew up together near Portland in Southern Maine where each family celebration started with a pot of steaming red lobsters and ended with blueberry pie. Sabin relocated to Los Angeles following his graduation from Hofstra University in 2003 and has watched the food truck movement explode. Meanwhile, back on the east coast, Jim has watched the lobster industry land record-breaking catches year after year. Tselikis and Lomac decided to combine the strength of the lobster product with the strength of the LA food culture, and in early 2012, Cousins Maine Lobster was born.

Cousins Jim Tselikis and Sabin Lomac had one vision: To fly fresh, Maine lobster overnight and serve the food they grew up eating to the hungry people of Southern California. The product quality couldn’t be ignored. Lines of 40- 60 lobster-lovers stretched along their polished, black truck, and the lines never subsided. Cousins Maine Lobster serves only Certified Maine Lobster and is also known for flying in their New England style Hot Dog Rolls, Lobster Ice Cream, and hand made soups from Maine. Cousins Maine Lobster just brought the highest grade product in the world to you...we just saved you a trip to Maine!

Cousins Maine Lobster made history when they served their 1st lobster roll on April 27th, 2012 in Artesia, California. The night before serving the 1st roll, Cousins Maine Lobster was featured on UrbanDaddy.com, garnishing them an immense amount of exposure in the Los Angeles area. Minutes later, ABC’s smash hit “Shark Tank” sent an email and asked the two if they would be interested in appearing on the show. 2 months later, on July 11th 2013, Jim and Sabin stuck a partnership with real estate tycoon Barbara Corcoran on the stage of Shark Tank, thus propelling them to unforeseen heights. By 2013, Cousins MaineLobsteropenedtheir1st brick and mortar in Pasadena, CA, launched an ecommerce business where they ship daily products, from Maine, nationwide, and were voted the #1 Food Truck in Los Angeles/Orange County. Additionally, they have won countless awards throughout San Diego County and are the top producing food truck in California. Cousins Maine Lobster has been the top food truck featured at the Del Mar Race Track and has been the top producing food truck at each Del Mar event.

Since those early months, Cousins Maine Lobster has been voted the Best Food Truck in Los Angeles/Orange County for 2012 & 2013, been featured on the Katie Couric Show, The Chew, Good Morning America, Good Day LA, KTLA, The Hallmark Channel, MSNBC, QVC, Fox Business, and countless other media outlets, all showcasing the one of a kind product that Cousins Maine Lobster serves.

Cousins Maine Lobster has become the top producing food truck in California, grossing over $3,500,000 in earnings in their 1st 1.5 years in business.

Mark and Hanna Lim

After experiencing difficulty finding a sippy-straw cup that worked with her first child, Hanna, a former high school chemistry teacher, decided to create a new cup on her own.  With no experience in plastics manufacturing, it took her about a year to create the first prototype of the lollacup.

While Hanna was creating the lollacup, Mark had just finished earning his MBA at UCLA with a concentration on Entrepreneurship.

Once Hanna was ready to take the cup to market, Mark joined in to run the back end of the business. After receiving some traction early on, they decided to take their idea to the hit ABC show Shark Tank where they succeeded in teaming up with business moguls Mark Cuban and Robert Herjavec.

Currently Lollacup now sells out of more than 500 stores and has global distribution in countries such as China, South Korea, Canada, Dubai, and Africa.
