Entrepreneurs Unpluggd: Startup Law Summit 2013
Saturday, October 19, 2013 from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM (CDT)
The leaves are changing colors, the air is turning cold, and you know it's time to incorporate your startup or learn about intellectual property. Enter Entrepreneurs Unpluggd: known for candid, high quality entrepreneurship education events, we are putting on a Startup Law Summit aimed at giving you details from and access to top startup lawyers in Chicago.
Following our usual intimate and informal, "unpluggd" style, attendees will get the low down on issues to consider prelaunch, intellectual property for tech startups, fundraising issues and much more.
In addition to speakers and lots of Q&A, there will be a legal clinic where entrepreneurs can ask their burning questions and get real answers from experienced attorneys in a small group.
Held at the IIT-Chicago Kent College of Law (565 W. Adams St.) , the Law Summit is the best opportunity for entrepreneurs to learn about relevant legal issues for their businesses.

When & Where
Entrepreneurs Unpluggd is a unique event series created by Stella Fayman and Tim Jahn. The events seek to create an intimate, engaging environment for entrepreneurs to learn actual lessons from actual experiences. It’s hard to do that with 3,000 people spread out in a giant auditorium at a keynote full of theory and fluff.
We keep the crowd to a manageable size, host our events in intimate theater settings, and seat the speakers right next to you in the audience. As past speakers have said, “it’s the sort of thing you don’t normally talk about in the company history section on your website. It’s a little more intimate.”
You can expect the following from your experience at Entrepreneurs Unpluggd:
- Valuable networking with fellow entrepreneurs and innovators
- Great speakers sharing actionable information in an intimate setting
- Exposure to resources and tools you can use to grow your business
