This month, we welcome Barry Bazen, Founder/Owner of The Profit Advisory Group, a cost management consulting company.

About Barry Bazen:
Barry graduated from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science in Economics in 1987. He then began his sales career with Lanier, where he soon became a Sales Manager for the State of South Carolina. Under Barry’s leadership many Regional and National records were broken.
Barry then transitioned into Telecommunications and moved to Charlotte N.C. to join Global Crossing where he became General Manager for the Carolina’s. Barry’s team again set many records, regularly surpassed quota and consistently ranked among the top teams in the Country.
Barry then became the Regional Sales Director for both, Major and National Accounts with MCI for the Carolinas and Virginias. Under his direction the Region’s production increased nearly twenty-fold to $1.3B+/year and was a model of consistency in terms of National rankings, employee promotion/tenure, Customer Service Excellence awards and Sales Reps/Managers winning the prestigious Chairman’s Inner Circle Trip each year. Barry’s responsibilities grew to include him becoming Director of Sales and Service, the only Director in the Country with this scope of responsibility.
It was his work in this capacity that led to the creation of Profit Advisory Group (PAG), which is a full service Telecommunications Consultancy with an emphasis on Expense Management. Founded in 2002, PAG has recovered well over $1M in credits and reduced client expenses by nearly $150M with average client cost reductions exceeding 20% annually. PAG has done work for clients ranging in size from small, locally owned firms to companies like Nike, Johnson and Johnson and Accenture; in all 50 states, in over 30 countries and on 4 different continents.
