The College of Engineering is one of the largest in the courntry and is the largest college on campus, representing 25 percent of the total enrollment. It is important for engineers and the greater campus community to be aware of current engineering topics and the impact they have on society. Faculty, staff and students are welcome to participate in the Engineering Distinguished Speaker event on Nov. 7 to learn more about the current topics in water and the environment from Virginia Grebbien, President of Parsons.
The event will be held in the Bronco Student Center, Ursa Major from 4 pm to 6 pm. The event is free and open to the public, but registration is required. For more information, contact Steve Quintero at (909)869-4289.

Beginning Fall 2013, the university and its greater community will come together to celebrate Cal Poly Pomona’s 75th anniversary year. While the yearlong events mark the university’s founding in 1938, it is also an opportunity to celebrate its countless achievements as well as envision and build its future.
