About the show: End Times at Le Chat Noir
It’s both Art Nouveau and fin de siècle, the end of the world and the last days at le Chat Noir, the renowned Parisian cabaret. With period songs from 1890s to 1930s and our trademark amazing costumes.
The existentialist and cynical Madame Marie struggles to find meaning in a disintegrating world as the cabaret falls apart at the seams, literally. Her arch nemesis Gaspard plots to put Le Chat Noir out of business with his flashier cabaret down the street, and to lure away the Madame’s prize performer. Can the Madame outfox him?
Show designed by Mary Lin. Music direction by Andrew Adams.
