The EMOC Annual Men's Conference is an event designed, primarily to promote the development and success of minority males at the University of Memphis, the Greater Memphis area, and abroad. Each year, EMOC brings together a stellar group of community leaders and successful businessmen with the sole purpose of empowering attendees to pursue higher education and overall success in future endeavors. The conference is free, and is primarily open to both male and female University of Memphis students of all areas of study, backgrounds, and ethnicities.

The Empowered Men of Color(EMOC)
The Empowered Men of Color is a student organization at the University of Memphis that was founded to promote increases in the retention and graduation rates of minority males at the University. EMOC achieves its goals by fostering brotherhood relationships among students in the organization, providing structured opportunities for studying, homework, and overall academic success, as well as participating in acts of service to the campus and surrounding community.
