When & Where
Solace for Sistas
Solace for Sistas is a social and support network of black women committed to human and civil rights; social justice and criminal justice work and activities.
We generally meet once a month to inform and enlighten each other with in-depth and casual conversation; good food & drink; and overall support for each other. On occasion we meet for a cultural or political event or to just have dinner and a movie.
Our two basic rules are:
1. We discuss as little work as possible at our gatherings
2. We do not demean or berate black men
