What: Triad Style is honored to host the 1st annual Fashion Show during Greensboro’s United Arts Council 17 day’s Arts and Cultural Festival which is collaboration with The United Arts Council annual event.
Why: Over the years the community has seen stagnation and decline in the fashion and design industry; especially here in the triad area. Hence, the pair has chosen to donate partial proceeds to The United Arts Council in support of the organization’s dedication to preserve a creative community and Dress For Success of Winston Salem to support disadvantage women in their career development and life.
The pair will also support the Good Will Industries which is a program sponsored by Good Will Industries. Triad Style encourages guest to donate gently used business attire to ensure that those that are less fortunate are given the same the opportunity to be successful.
By exposing the artistic talent locally, the two hope to rejuvenate the cultivation of home grown triad talent. This will purposefully impact, change, and stimulate growth in the triad’s textile heritage. The fashion show is a conduit to create brand awareness for local designers, photographers, artist, manufacturing companies, boutiques and specialty stores here in the triad area.
