Electric Dash is glow-in-the-dark run from Bangor’s historic West Market Square to Waterfront Festival Grounds directly following the fifth annual KahBang Festival Kick-Off. The best part? Our run ends in a dance party to celebrate your successful run (or walk) of fun at our Waterfront Dance Stage! After the run, your registration also allows your access to the KahBang Campsite’s Late Late Stage area.

We have selected the Children’s Tumor Foundation as this years co-benefactor of our inaugural Electric Dash. We are proud to sport blue and green glow sticks in support of their amazing mission and dedication to ending Neurofibromatosis through research.

KahBang Arts is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the discovery, development and support of independent artists. Through its programs, KahBang Arts seeks to connect innovative, creative practitioners with resources for creation, exhibition and collaboration. Our organization encourages freedom of expression, diversity and art as a means of communicating both individual and community values.

KahBang Arts provides a space for independent artists to explore their work free from commercial pressures. By providing year-round creative and financial support for development in the vast spectrum of the arts, KahBang Arts remains committed to its mission to discover and support artists, as well as maintaining a community which encourages the free flow of creative expression, ideas and a creative economy.

Located in the heart of downtown Bangor’s arts district at 89 Central Street,  this space features at least 12 artists per year through a series of 3 week exhibits, all opening with a mixer on the first Saturday of each month.  In addition to opening receptions,  Central Gallery hosts artist talks, workshops, musicians, Second Saturday receptions and other creative events throughout the year. KBA stands strongly behind its belief that galleries should be uncensored, all ages and rotate frequently to provide artists with the opportunity to find as many new audiences for their work possible.
