El Segundo High School PTSA and The Princeton Review have partnered to bring you a mock SAT or mock ACT. All proceeds benefit the El Segundo High School PTSA.
Your SAT and ACT score is a critical part of the admissions process. This mock SAT or mock SAT test will give you a sneak peak at how you'd score on the exam without affecting your official application.
The SAT and the ACT are entrance exams used by most colleges and universities to make admissions decisions. The idea (in theory, at least) is to provide colleges with one common criterion that can be used to compare all applicants. However, it is just one factor in the admissions decision. Schools also consider your high school GPA, academic transcript, letters of recommendation, interviews and personal essays.
