An intimate dinner in the fields featuring Live Earth Farm's impeccable produce picked and prepared fresh by Chef Jonathan Miller. This farm to fork dining experience features Monterey Bay Area artisan ingredients paired with local wine and beer, served on the crest of a hill overlooking the Pajaro Valley. Enjoy live music, local beverages, and real food while the September sun sets over the organic fields.
Please don't leave your children at home, the Live Earth Farm Discovery Program will provide a children's program and cob oven pizza dinner in the garden just a field away from the adult event. The night will culminate under the stars, around the campfire with the kiddos. Proceeds support LEFDP's farm-based nutrition and food systems education programs.

What will the menu be like?
We are planning a celebration of the many different people who have worked the land in the Pajaro Valley. The cuisine for this year's event will take its inspiration from around the world honoring the Croations, Portuguese, Chinese, Japanese, and Mexican people who have cultivated this land.
Will there be vegetarian options?
Yes, we cook straight from the fields where we grow 50 different fruits and vegetables. We usually only offer one meat dish of the 5+ courses served. Any meat being served is also sourced locally from humane, sustainable farms, where the animals eat and live the way they are meant to.
Where does the food come from?
The produce comes primarily from Live Earth Farm. Other local farms like Lakeside Organic Gardens, Far West Fungi, and generously contribute anything we don't have. Companion Bakeshop and Beckmans have supplied the bread, Happy Girl Kitchen Co., gives us jam and pickles, Summer Meadows provides cheese, and yoghurt. Penny Ice Creamery will provide dessert this year.
Where does the wine come from?
We are so pleased to serve Alfaro Family Vineyards, Birichino, Cima Collina, Storrs Winery, and Zayante Vineyards this year. And there is more to come.
Who is the chef?
Chef Jonathan Miller has 15 years experience as a private chef. He specializes in healthful, family iriented cuisine and works closely with several small, sustainable farms and ranches in the area. Jonathan's past clients include Charlize Theron and producer, J.J. Abrams.
What makes this dinner in the fields special?
The Live Earth Farm Discovery Program dinner is unlike any other feast in the fields. Unlike most fundraisers the food is truly excellent and unlike most dinners in the field this event enables LEFDP to provide nutrition and environmental farm-based education year round.

The Live Earth Farm Discovery Program
The Live Earth Farm Discovery Program (LEFDP) teaches kids and families the value of seasonal, organic, and local food systems for their bodies, the environment and their communities.
The program’s mission is to provide hands-on educational programs for youth on our farm and in local schools, focused on the environmental and nutritional value of local, organic, and sustainable food and farms. Our goal is to reach out to all segments of the community with an emphasis on low-income, diverse and under served populations.
