About Nicole Mantzanas:
With degrees in both Public Relations and Telecommunications, Nicole Mantzanas has publicized, marketed and promoted some of the most prestigious companies and organizations in the Tampa Bay area for more than 13 years.
Armed with extensive knowledge and experience in all aspects of the communications field, Nicole founded NEA Group with the philosophy that public relations and a solid communications plan should be an important, affordable and accessible part of any business, large or small. With the right words, strong article placement and a great design, any message can be communicated effectively.
After graduating from the University of Florida, Nicole began her career at WFLA-TV in Tampa, where she managed all public relations, internal communications and specialty promotion production. She then worked in the public relations department at Shriners International Headquarters, the corporate headquarters for one of the largest non-profits in the country. She promoted events, wrote extensively about Shriners patients, the Shrine fraternity and employees, while also managing a variety of corporate projects. She crafted and communicated messages from the CEO, chairman of the board and other top executives. Following Shriners, Nicole was hired as PR manager, and quickly promoted to director of public relations, for Catalina Marketing, an international behavior-based marketing company located in St. Petersburg. At Catalina Marketing, Nicole directed all internal and external communications, including all media relations, advertising, CEO communications and all other executive communications.
In 2010, Nicole served as President of the Tampa Bay Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America, managing a board of 10 and a membership of more than 150 professionals. That same year, she was named to the Tampa Bay Business Journal’s prestigious list of “Up & Comers” – an annual list of young Tampa Bay business men and women making an impact on the community. Nicole has served on the board of directors for Frameworks of Tampa Bay, a non-profit dedicated to teaching social and emotional learning to young adults. She currently serves on the board of directors for the Public Relations Society of America, is an active member of the Junior League of Tampa, and provides pro bono services for St. John Greek Orthodox Church and the Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO).
