The DC Children and Youth Investment Trust Corporation (CYITC) on behalf of DYRS is seeking bids for consulting contracts from organizations with proven capacity to support DYRS and other court-involved youth in experiential learning and workforce development opportunities that will result in educational gains, employment, occupational skills training programs, successful workforce preparation, post-secondary placement and military enlistment.This request for qualifications consists of five program models: 1) Youth Placement; 2) Occupational Skills Training (OST) Plus; 3) Site-Based Internships; 4) Reading & Math Boot camp; 5) Driver’s Education. Contractors may submit applications for no more than two of the models described in this announcement. Youth may NOT be enrolled in more than one program at a time without authorization from DYRS.
