The SC Coalition Against Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault (SCCADVASA) and the Cumbee Center to Assist Abused Persons (CAAP) will co-host a two day Sexual Assault Awareness Month Conference entitled:
EDUCATE, ENGAGE, EMPOWER!
FREE Training, but limited to the first 150 registrants.
Your registration isn’t complete until you have received a confirmation letter. The deadline to register is Monday, April 21, 2014.
Once the training is full, there will NOT be a waiting list but individuals are encouraged to check back to see if there is an opening due to a cancellation(s).
SCCADVASA’s CANCELLATION AND SUBSTITUTION POLICY:
Substitutions are permitted with prior notification and approval by SCCADVASA. All requests for cancellations and substitutions must be submitted to firstname.lastname@example.org on or before Monday, April 21, 2014.
Need hotel accommodations? Call Embassy Suites Columbia-Greystyone, 200 Stoneridge Dr., Columbia, SC 29210. Please refer to the group code CAD to confirm the group rate of $119.00 per night plus applicable taxes and fees. The deadline to confirm the group rate is April 14, 2014.
CONTINUING EDUCATION HOURS:
SCCADVASA is a pre-approved provider of general contact hours through the SC Dept. of Labor, Licensing, and Regulation for LPC, MFTH, and Social Work Hours. This training has been approved for 10.75 credit hours. Continuing Law Enforcement (CLEE) and Victim Service Provider (VSP) hours are pending approval.
VICTIM SERVICE PROVIDER (VSP) HOURS REQUIREMENTS:
Any attendee requesting Victim Service Provider hours must sign-out at the end of each workshop presentation and provide their VSP number.

The South Carolina Coalition Against Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault (SCCADVASA) is a statewide coalition made up of the 23 domestic violence and sexual assault advocacy programs in South Carolina. Since 1981, SCCADVASA has been a leader in representing the critical needs of survivors and their families.
