Edge Stories asks some fundamental questions about our confusing interactiosn with cities and our personal histories conveyed through photography. In the center of the project is a jnon linear photographic tale. its protagnoist is a tourist coming across different locations in New York City over several decades. In each visit the shock of discovery has produced images, a map of memories, instantly c onnecting time, place, and biography. A diary of sorts emerges, where the recurrent vision of the city has composed a space between reality and imagination describing a speific place while ascribing to no particular locale.
Edge Stories was conceived in response to the recently published map German Walks, three suggtested walking tours tracing German heritage in New York City. The map will be avialable throughout the exhibition.
