Economic Empowerment: Supporting Survivors Through Financial Management

This 8 hour training works to strengthen victim advocates’ financial skills to better assist survivors of domestic violence move from short-term safety to long-term security, and to an economically sustainable independent life. It will teach advocates ways to create discussions around attitudes, fears, and perceptions of money; understand financial abuse and the impact it has on survivors of domestic violence; implement economic empowerment training to fellow program staff; and operate workshops and/ or support group topics on the fundamentals of financial management.
Registration, Cancellation and Payment: Registration is required for the training.
• Register early! Training fills quickly and registration is handled on a first come, first serve basis. Space is limited.
• Cancellations must be made at least one week prior.
• NO SHOWS may be charged a $50.00 fee.

Arizona Coalition to End Sexual and Domestic Violence
Since 1980, we've lead the anti-domestic violence movement in Arizona and provided key services aimed at eliminating abuse. In 2013, the coalition became the designated dual coalition in Arizona to address both sexual and domestic violence becoming the Arizona Coalition to End Sexual and Domestic Violence.
