About our speakers:
Gavin Minami-Mr. Minami brings over twelve years of experience in the architecture, design, and development of software and systems for both large enterprises and startups including Symantec, eBay, and LinkedIn. While at Symantec, he worked on the inaugural version of Norton Family as well as Symantec's Security Information Manager. At eBay, Mr. Minami held the role as Member of Technical Staff, where he was a lead engineer on eBay's next-generation media platform used to store, process, and serve the millions of images uploaded to the site each day. Prior to joining EV Connect, he held the position of Senior Software Engineer at LinkedIn. Mr. Minami holds a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Hawai'i and a Bachelor of Science degree from Harvey Mudd College.
Marty Griffin-Marty is the newest member to the EV Connect team. He is a recent graduate of UC Riverside with a BS in Business Informatics (Computer Science and Business). He has worked with large companies including the Walt Disney Company all the way down to a few LA based start ups, being the CTO of one. He has a strong passion for anything tech and is eager is develop his career in the LA area.
