Please join us for the formal launch of the eCitizen Foundation. The launch event will take place at K&L Gates, LLC in Washington, DC and culminate in a wine reception. Before the party, there will be four workgroup symposia in which attendees will collaboratively explore the issues including citizen-centered identity for the information age and second generation XML for legislation, regulation and citations. The sessions will include online participation with live Internet video broadcasting. Each symposium will articulate the Business, Legal & Technology (BLT) methodology for designing systems using an Open Public Integrated Architecture.

When & Where
Collaboratively led by Dazza Greenwood, a technology lawyer and educator, Daniel Bennett, a technologist and former Congressional staffer, Ray Campbell, head of Mass Health Data Consortium and represented by Scott David of K&L Gates law firm, the eCitizen Foundation exists to educate and to convene stakeholders across society to discuss and establish the Open Public Integrated Architectures that explicitly address the legal, technical and business layers of tomorrow's online systems, organizations and life. Organized by workgroup, committees and projects, initiative areas include use of XML for next generation legislative and legal documents, online identity for individuals and organizations, electronic contracts and dispute resolution, mass-scale dialog and participation in decision making, and use of architecture with data-driven models and simulations to define and execute integrated requirements for run-time virtual work.
