The revival of highly acclaimed play "Echo of Love" coming to Off-Broadway stage with Liza Kaymin as an actress Angelina Stepanova and Sergey Gordeev as Nikolai Erdman, a famous dramatist.  

Echo of Love, a play about passion, politics, and theater.   Set against the backdrop of 20th century Russia, featuring music by DmitriShostakovich and Isaak Dunayevsky, Echo of Love tells the story of love affair between the famous dramatist Nikolai Erdman and the leading actress of Moscow Art Theater Angelina Stepanova.

In Russian with English supertitles.

    Literary Theater Dialogue

    Dialogue Theater was established in 2003 by Irina Volkovich. She is the Producing Artistic Director and playwright. The Theater’s repertoire is comprised of her original scripts, devoted to great figures of Russian literature and culture such as, Boris Pasternak, Ivan Bunin, Anna Akhmatova, Nikolai Gumilev, Nikolai Erdman, Sergei Dovlatov and others.

    The Dialogue troupe has performed at many venues in New York City, the tri-state area and Europe. Performances are in Russian and have received an overwhelmingly positive response in the English and Russian press in print, radio, and television both in the United States and Europe.
