Did you know that roughly half of the food produced in the United States is wasted? And over a third of edible food worldwide is tossed away as well? This means that litterally millions of pounds of food are going directly from farms to landfills, while millions of people remain severely malnourished.
You may be wondering: what are the causes of this monumental wastage? How does our food supply system allow for such inefficiencies? And who is doing something to change this?
The good news is that YOU can become a part of the solution!
