Come Learn More about the Need for Earned Sick Days in Philadelphia and

Share why workers Need Earned Sick Days with Members of

Philadelphia's City Council!

Over 40% of workers in Philadelphia have no earned sick time, including 78% of resataurant and accommodation workers, and are forced to choose between going to work sick, or sending a child to school sick and losing a day's pay or possibly their job.

ACTION United along with the Coalition for Health Families and Workplaces is holding a Lobby Day, complete with Lobby Training, to provide information for Philadelphia's City Council about the importance of earned sick time.

WHEN:  Wednesday February 8th at 10:00 a.m.

WHERE: DC 47 1606 Walnut Street, 3rd Floor, Philadelphia PA

The Lobby Traning will be from 10:00 to 12:00 with visits with Councilmembers and staff to follow. Lunch will be provided. Come for the whole day, or for as long as you are able.

You do not need to be an expert or have lobbying experience to take part in this exciting day. We will provide you with everything you need to advocate for this important issue!

For more information about the event please contact Jasmine Rivera at 215-839-3390
