Early Adolescent Growth and Development in Diverse Learning Communities - Summer 2013

This course is the second in a 3-course series designed to contribute to add-on middle level certification while providing an examination of the diverse developmental characteristics of early adolescents in contemporary society using interdisciplinary themes, young adult books, and other media.
The course will be a blend of in-class and on-line sessions. The in-class meetings will be every Wednesday in June from 4:00PM - 8:00PM beginning June 5, 2013. The class will also meet on Friday, June 14, 2013 from 9:00AM - 1:00PM. Most of the on-line course work will be conducted during July.
The cost per participant is $100 plus materials to be paid on the first night of class.
