Eargasms is a sense of pleasure derived from listening to something, particularly music. It’s a paroxysm of emotional and auditory excitation or instance or climax of such excitement sufficient to cause release of tension and a state of beatitude…

About DJ Jaycee:

Originally from Detroit, DJ Jaycee is a veteran party & radio rocking DJ who continues to make an imprint within the DJ community & music industry worldwide. Jaycee is from the breed of DJ's who are passionate about collecting records and equally passionate about developing flawless mix & scratching skills. His knowledge and appreciation of multiple genres of music was established as a child and they flourished as did his passion for spinning.

Jaycee created a buzz around his turntable skills by entering and winning multiple DJ competitions throughout the city of Atlanta, which led to multiple appearances on local college and community radio stations such as WRAS 88.5fm, WRFG 89.3fm, WUOG 90.5fm, and WREK 91.1 fm. These appearances played a crucial role in cementing Jaycee’s reputation as a DJ that couldn't be ignored, which then also led to him becoming a musical mainstay in Atlanta’s club scene by playing such legendary venues as The Phoenix (which was later renamed The Warehouse), Velvet, Flava, Oxygen, Kaya, Esso, The Chili Pepper, Vision, and many many more. In August 1995, So So Def’s DJ Nabs (Kris Kross’ tour DJ) first featured Jaycee as a guest on his V-103.3fm mix show “The Thunderstorm” and after the station’s PD Tony Brown witnessed his versatility and presence as a DJ during regular guest spots filling in for Nabs while he was on tour, V-103 hired him and soon thereafter he was not only spinning, but hosting his own mix show “The Late Night Mixtape” where for years he effortlessly displayed turntable dexterity and broke tons of new music.

After witnessing him display his musical knowledge and turntable dexterity all over the city for years, Ludacris brought Jaycee onboard in September 2000 as his official tour DJ and for the next 11 years, Jaycee went on to travel around the world relentlessly showcasing impeccable showmanship skills on stages with Luda on huge tours such as Eminem's Anger Management Tour, Outkast's Stanklove Tour, The Black Eyed Peas E.N.D Tour, as well as backing him up on prestigious award shows such as the Grammys, American Music Awards, MTV’s Video Music Awards, The BET Awards, Top Of The Pops, VH-1's Hip Hop Honors and more. He has also been seen terrorizing the turntable on notable live performance oriented television shows ranging from Total Request Live, Rap City, Saturday Night Live, The George Lopez Show, Jenny Jones, 106 & Park, Late Night With David Letterman, Soul Train, The Jimmy Fallon Show, Live w/Regis & Kelly!, Ellen, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Carson Daly and more.

Because of extensive touring Jaycee took a hiatus from the radio in 2001 but he returned to V-103 in September of 2008 to do the midday “Afternoon Delight” mix where he effortlessly merges his vivid tastes in classic, soulful tunes with dizzying mixing skills which has smashed Atlanta radio ratings records during the timeslot. No longer professionally affiliated with Ludacris, Jaycee created “Eargasms” which serves as his vehicle to showcase his passion for music and the art of turntable manipulation. Under that brand he has also released a very diverse catalog of mixes while simultaneously rocking monthly parties in the city of Atlanta that reflect his taste in distinctly flavorful sounds.
