The EAO is proud to present its 2014 Life Achievement Award to entrepreneurs, philanthropists and community leaders Magdy Eletreby and Nabil Eletreby. Magdy Eletreby a Computer Software Engineer and Nabil Eletreby a Pharmacist, both immigrated to the United States with their unique individual skills in search for the American dream. Together these brothers innovated and through their entrepreneurial partnership cofounded Etreby Computer Company, Inc. in 1981. Identifying and serving a niche within the healthcare system, they started in one community pharmacy. The innovative software development company grew over twenty five years to provide leading and cutting edge pharmacy management applications in over 1600 pharmacies in the independent and small to medium retail chain pharmacies market. Magdy and Nabil’s contribution to the business community is only one of their accomplishments as Egyptian Americans living the American dream. Not only did Magdy Eletreby make his footprints professionally, he also had a vision for the future generations of Egyptian Americans, building bridges through various interfaith projects, and working to establish an Islamic school that emphasizes the American identity. Both Magdy and Nabil have been philanthropists who have given back to the community supporting the coming generations of American Egyptians.
