LA Commons will host the second annual Found LA: Festival of Neighborhoods. This year’s theme “Discovering the Secret Heart of Los Angeles” invites participants to move beyond historic sites and surface structures to showcase the significance that lies rooted in storefronts, shops, and gathering places in their communities. Supporting local community leaders in sharing what ties them to their neighborhoods.
HIKE/ TRAIL: THE EAGLE ROCK with PETER SCHALLER
Learn details of trail building at the "Eagle Rock." While hiking the scenic trial. Peter Schaller is your guide and has been building trails since 1986. He has built trails in Crystal Lake, Mt Baldy, Mt Lukens, Monrovia Canyon Park, Pickens Ridge, and Eagle Rock Trail.
Tour Info: Please wear closed toe sturdy shoes for hiking and bring hats and/or sunscreen.
Driving Directions: Exit 134 Freeway at Figueroa. Park will be visible from the street.

Found L.A. is a FREE, citywide event that showcases culturally dynamic neighborhoods through the eyes of residents, public figures and renowned artists, who generously volunteer to share their unique perspective and passion for their neighborhood. Sunday, October 19, 2014, LA Commons will host the fourth annual Found LA: Festival of Neghborhoods. This year's theme Great Streets invites Angelenos to explore the main arteries of neighborhoods around the city, developed and not so, and meet the people in the center of activity there.
