Description

The visual programming interface of Dynamo enables every architect and engineer with the ability to interact with, manipulate and move Revit building data that has previously been difficult to access. This seminar will show you how world leading designers and builders are using Dynamo to help them automate and enhance BIM workflows.

Dark Arkitekter and Autodesk are inviting you to meet up at Multiconsult in Oslo, and learn from these guys:

Matt Jezyk

Senior Product Line Manager for AEC Conceptual Design Products at Autodesk Inc.

Matt has been in the Architecture and Engineering industry for 18 years and has spent the past 14 years developing Autodesk Revit and various other design tools. As one of the original architects hired by Revit Technology Corporation, Matt helped build what are now called Revit Architecture and Revit Structure. He is experienced in building both parametric and geometric modeling tools on the Revit platform. Recently he has focused on emerging markets and technology and has developed a suite of new technologies. His development teams have created multiple new applications: Autodesk Vasari, a popular Autodesk Labs project now in public beta, and Autodesk FormIt, the 1st architectural form modeler on the iPad, Android and Web. Matt and his group also contribute code to the open-source Dynamo Visual Programming tool for Revit and Vasari.

Julien Benoit

BIM Manager, head of Preconstruction team at Groupe Legendre, France (general contractor based in Rennes).

With an experience of 15 years in construction management on and off site, Julien wishes to change the way AEC Industry is running using technology, knowledge and communication.

Formerly working for Bouygues Construction, he is now responsible for BIM implementation in Legendre’s construction company, in charge of Revit integration, from Design team, technical department and cost estimation to construction sites and concrete precast plant. He is part of the new Rennes subway line team, in charge of structural coordination in Legendre’s scope of work.

Andreas Dieckmann

Teaching / Research Fellow, Chair for Computer Aided Architectural Design, RWTH Aachen University, Germany

Andreas is a trained architect with some programming experience and works for the Chair of Computer Aided Architectural Design (CAAD) at RWTH Aachen University. He is in charge of teaching and research efforts in the fields of Building Information Modeling and Parametric / Computational Design.

Håvard Vasshaug

Structural Engineer (M.Sc.), BIM manager & Design Technologist, DARK Arkitekter

Håvard has vast experience providing Revit training, solutions, and seminars for architects and engineers over the past 8 years, and now uses this background to share knowledge of digital building design solutions. He regularly speaks about technical workflows, digital innovation and human development at various national and international conferences and seminars, and receive wide acclaim for his talks and classes. He writes about BIM and visual scripting solutions on vasshaug.net, and administers the Norwegian Revit forum. Håvard has a passion for making technology work in human minds and on computers, and he has three tools in doing that: Building project development, technology research, and knowledge sharing.

Dieter Vermeulen
