The “Faces of Courage Photo Exhibition” (a family event) celebrates the courage and resiliency of survivors of sexual and domestic violence during May’s Asian Pacific American Heritage Month. DVRP is partnering with Nobuko Oyabu, a Japanese photojournalist whose “STAND” photography project has revealed the inner strength of women and men who have been put to the ultimate trial of their lives.
We hope that you’ll join us! A separate kids area is available. The exhibit is handicap accessible. Light refreshments will be served.
All proceeds will be donated to support DVRP's work with survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. To learn more about Nobuko’s work, visit: www.nobukoonline.com.
