The Dundee Game Jam is a day long game creation event hosted at The University Of Abertay, Dundee. It's on May the 28th 2011 and runs from 10am till 5pm. Anyone over 18 can attend and it's open to Students, Professional Game Developers and anyone who makes games.
The idea is that a bunch of game developers meet up, bring their laptops and put together some games for the day! You can work on your own or as part of a team. You can work on one game exclusively or contribute to as may projects as you want. There will be a theme for the jam and there might even be some prizes but it's not a competition. It's a chance to meet new people, learn new skills and make cool things.
Make sure you bring
- Laptop (computers will not be provided and there might not be much desk space)
- Good Pair of Headphones
- Working Workflow (there won't be time to rewrite your renderer again!)
- Game Dev Skills (code, art, design, music etc)
