Live Demo Presented by Web – Video Crossroads

Join us for a side-by-side comparison of how each editing software performs the most common and the most important tasks in your workflow. The event will focus on helping you determine which will best serve your professional editing needs going forward and will feature:

  • Side-by-side presentation of Premiere Pro CS6 and Final Cut Pro X.
  • The most important editing tasks will be demonstrated in one, then the other.
  • It is our intent to show the best features of each so attendees will be able to judge which software best fits their unique needs.
  • An opportunity to network with fellow Multimedia Interactive Arts professionals.
  • A raffle, with the grand prize of an Adobe CS6 Production Bundle worth $1,899.00 as the main door prize.

This event was the brainchild of the Orange County MultiMedia Association, but Adobe liked the idea so much that they have declared it an official Adobe CS6 Event and are helping support the event with prizes, food and beverages.

Our Presenters

Mike McGready
Mike McGready

Mike is the Creative Director and Owner of Album of Life Video Studios which excels at producing cinematic video works-of-art that capture the essence of events, performances, corporate training, etc. Mike is also a skilled web programmer with a long history of website creation and design. His current focus is creating or adapting websites to look and perform wonderfully on smart phones and tablets. He is the Manager of Web – Video Crossroads (Adobe User Group), Board Member of the Orange County MultiMedia Association, and a Board Member at Large of the Professional Videographers Network. Mike has also served on the Orange County Digital Media Advisory Committee and played the same role for Chaffey College Broadcasting and Cinema.

Dolores Jenerson-Madden, an OCMMA Board member, is a multimedia/digital video instructor at Fullerton College in Fullerton, CA and the full time Broadcasting and Cinema Specialist at Chaffey College in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. She owns Multimedia Services 4U, a company that creates film/video/DVD/Web projects for corporate and private clients. Her award winning documentary film, “Forget Not, My Dream” on domestic violence was exhibited at several film festivals in 2010-2011. Dolores is an Apple Pro Certified Trainer for versions 6 and 7 of Final Cut Pro and enjoys training others. She is currently completing an iBooks Author Final Cut Pro X textbook for beginners.

It is funded by the Economic & Workforce Development Program of the California Community Colleges. This Initiative is comprised of the Orange County Digital Media Center, the North Orange County School of Continuing Education, and four community colleges:
