An Evening of Top DC Area Chefs Celebrating Duck Dishes From Around the Globe
On Wednesday, September 18th, eight talented chefs will come together at The Source by Wolfgang Puck to celebrate the diversity of the duck. Participating chefs at the event include Nathan Anda of Red Apron Butchery, Bertrand Chemel of 2941, RJ Cooper of Rogue 24, Scott Drewno of The Source by Wolfgang Puck, Katsuya Fukushima of Daikaya, Mike Isabella of Graffiato/Kapnos/G, Frederick de Pue of Table/Azur and David Varley of Mina Group. With such a notable roster of chefs, each specializing in a different cuisine, guests at the event will enjoy dishes encompassing a range of global flavors including French, Japanese, Chinese, Belgian, Greek, Italian and American.
The event will also feature a Grey Goose martini bar and local brews from Virginia-based Port City Brewing Company.
All the ducks for “Duck, Duck, Grey Goose” will be provided by Joe Jurgielewicz & Son, a family-run Pekin duck farm located in Pennsylvania. Tommy McFly, host of The Tommy Show on 94.7 FM will serve as master of ceremonies for the event.
