Matthew Chapman, in addition to being the great-great grandson of Charles Darwin, is the director of The Ledge, the first drama in Hollywood history to feature an openly atheist hero in a story about religious conflict. The film was nominated for Best US Drama at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival and stars Charlie Hunnman (Sons of Anarchy), Liv Tyler (Lord of the Rings), Tony, Emmy, and Golden Globe nominee Patrick Wilson (Watchmen) and Oscar nominee Terrence Howard (Crash, Iron Man).
Roger Nygard is the director of The Nature of Existence, a fascinating documentary that poses the big questions of life, the universe and everything to a remarkable cross-section of humanity ranging from scientists like Richard Dawkins to modern druids, a 24th generation Taoist Master, and the founder of Ultimate Christian Wrestling.
Ondi Timoner is the director of JOIN US, a powerful documentary that examines the inner workings of a cult from both the members' and the cult leaders' points of view. The film follows four families as they leave an abusive church in South Carolina enter Wellspring, the only live-in cult treatment facility in the world, then eventually return home to bring the pastor and his wife to justice.
