FOKUS, Inc. presents: Drink & Draw!
Brooklyn, NY

Friends, both old and new, are invited to express themselves through the art of tasting and creating!

FOKUS invites 21+ attendees to our first-ever Drink & Draw interactive workshop, which will feature relaxed drawing lessons led by visiting artist, Rebecca Simon, art supplies to experiment with and special winery tasting at Brooklyn Oenology Winery, in Williamsburg Brooklyn!  From 7pm-10pm on Thursday, August 28th, 2014 FOKUS will be spreading art therapy / creativity love with a twist of vine!

With tumbler and/or charcoal in hand, folks will have the freedom to doodle and intermix with community residents, local vendors, friends and family.  Whether you have a rich portfolio behind you, or have never picked up a cray0n and are  curious about art, we encourage you to spend a summer's night with FOKUS - getting to know us and each other!

At the apex of fresh and ecclectic, Brooklyn Oenology Winery is located in the heart of Williamsburg, Brooklyn, just off the Bedford Ave. stop on the L train, at Wythe Ave. and N. 3rd Street.

This event is FREE!

Please RSVP to our Eventbrite event page for one of our 4 art workshop times *

Only guests 21+ will be served alcohol

FOKUS nurtures success in under-resourced communities by exposing their members to unexpected art experiences. This is to help them discover their own creativity and use it to better these communities. We primarily do our work via arts education programming, community based events and publishing INSIGHT magazine.

Our mission is to educate, empower and unite communities by using the arts.

New to FOKUS or want to see us again?  Please feel welcome to visit our organization's website to find out more about who we are, our past & future programming, our quarterly magazine - INSIGHT, or, to view our gallery of artistry and more!

FOKUS increases the public's access to the arts through arts education programming and community-based arts events. Our mission is to educate, empower and unite diverse communities by using the arts.

FOKUS is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit that nurtures creativity in communities by exposing their members to art experiences. This is to help them discover their own creativity and use it to better themselves and their communities.

We also publish INSIGHT, an online arts magazine. INSIGHT magazine is based on the concept that we often look to art to define past civilizations. In turn, we provide insight into the artists who are shaping our culture through their work today. We provide insight into the worlds of actors, musicians, designers, fine artists, emerging artists and those who do not immediately come to mind when thinking about the arts/artists, such as culinary artists and industrial designers.
