On 9-10-11, compete for a great prizes in a location-based, social media fueled, scavenger hunt.
A social media savvy group of two-person teams will embark on an exiting, urban scavenger hunt. Unlike traditional scavenger hunts, Downtown Dash teams will utilize their social channels (Foursquare and Twitter) to collect points and complete challenges.
Pre-game competition, the Social Engagement Challenge, starts on August 8, 2011, be sure to register early. Registered and paid teams will receive intstructions for a set of challenges leading up to the month. The team with greatest social influence will be determined and a winner will be announced on 9-10-11.
On event-day, teams will meet at ING Direct, they will be given an event packet and hit the streets of Chicago to gather hints, solve money-saving trivia and complete physical tasks. Prizes will be awarded for individual challenges and three grand prizes will be awarded for first, second and thrid place teams.
Downtown Dash teams will finish up their day of scavenges with an after-party where they can mingle with other teams and invite their friends to help them celebrate.
