Doris Kearns Goodwin is one of America’s foremost presidential historians and biographers, having authored multiple New York Times-best selling books, including Lyndon Johnson and the American Dream, The Fitzgeralds and The Kennedys; No Ordinary Time: Franklin & Eleanor Roosevelt: The Home Front in World War II; Wait Till Next Year: A Memoir; and Team of Rivals: The Political Genius of Abraham Lincoln.
Here Kearns Goodwin will speak about previous works, as well as her most recent book The Bully Pulpit: Theodore Roosevelt, William Howard Taft & the Golden Age of Journalism, a masterful and deeply insightful study of presidents—freshly told through the decades-long and complicated friendship of Theodore Roosevelt and William Howard Taft.
