"Domestic Violence for mental health Professionals is a 2 hour course focusing on an integrated framework for responding to trauma and mental health in the context of domestic violence. The course will address the dynamics of domestic violence and a brief overview of research, trauma, mental health, substance abuse, impact of trauma on the brain, safety planning, lethality assessment, confidentiality, ethics, boundaries, working with diverse populations and effects of domestic violence on children and adolescents."
It is the policy of the Family Justice Center of Hillsborough County and Sexual Abuse Intervention Network (SAIN) that a training credit will be made for cancellations made a minimum of 24 hours prior to the event.
No refund or training credit will be issued for those cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance of the start of the event.
