The Edit Center and Made in NY Media Center by IFP are teaming up to offer a one week documentary intensive led by award-winning filmmaker and educator Alan Oxman, for FREE.
This hands-on workshop will teach you how recognize a potential story idea, obtain access to a subject - get that release signed!, make the most of your budget, how to shoot with ANY camera - get ready for plenty of fieldwork!, explore the best editing practices demonstrated live in the classroom, and provide you with an overview of fundraising and grantmaking. All you need is a camera with video-making capabilities and we’ll take care of the rest.
