Think tour groups are for boring people with too-high tube socks and cameras around their necks?
Then you obviously haven’t seen Docents Gone Wild! With the help of a few drag queens, vagrants, comedians, thespians and some other wild things we found on a streetcar, the Gladstone Hotel is excited to present the not-so-historical tour series—Docents Gone Wild!
Together with your docent and a mimosa, you will embark on a highly performative tour of the Gladstone Hotel (the oldest continually operating hotel in Toronto), our current contemporary art exhibits and anything else your docent deems tourable. While your docent may not know all the facts, they sure know how to pretend. So leave your tube socks and inhibitions at home and come see some Docents Gone Wild!
A perfect pairing with the Gladstone’s infamous weekend brunch menu, what could be better than spending a Saturday with our Crispy Pork Toastie plate and a side of wild docent?
Docents will rotate from tour-to-tour so don’t be shy to come back for seconds.
