We welcome you to the first Doc & Discuss at the Hub.
What's Doc & Discuss?
It's just as it sounds: watch a documentary film and then dive into a good discussion (popcorn included!) This will be a regular event at the Hub, so if you have a documentary that you think the Hub Community would enjoy, please share!
With that in mind, here are the details for the first one:
DOC: Bonsai People is a feature length documentary film that explores the work of Nobel Peace Prize winner Muhammad Yunus and his vision from microcredit to social business. (http://bonsaimovie.com/)
DISCUSS: Holy Mosher (Director and Producer) will lead us through the group discussion, comments, and plans for continuing community actions.
Date: April 12, 2012
Time: 7pm-9pm (doors open at 6:45)
Place: Hub Ottawa
Cost: 20 free tickets for Hub members (first come first serve); $8 a ticket for guests and members who don't sign up fast enough to get the free ticket:) Popcorn is included!
You can pay at the door as well.
