Do we see one another?

Deconstructing barriers of other(ing) among women of color...
Pre-registration is required. Registration closes February 21, 6pm,
Through creative expression, women of color (who do not racially identify as white) will simultaneously co-create a healing space and engage one another to be seen, heard...and acknowledged.
This co-created "safe space" will promote honest and in-depth dialogue that transcends "othering," stereotypes, mass media and pop culture (mis)representation.
Cultural histories will be addressed, but there will be no hierarchy of differences, as all dialogue will be grounded in personal/lived experiences.
NOTE: In the spirit of being communal, sisterly fellowship and to keep the registration fee low, I ask that you bring a snack to share with others. Also, bring a pillow or blanket to sit on the floor comfortably. Most importantly, I ask that you come open to experience the process.
