For our February DIY program, we will be hosting a hands-on art program: DIY Book Art.
The concept is to create a book art without any limitation or self-censorship. In this
workshop students are asked to explore the nature of book art, and create book art with
discarded cardboards, papers, old cloth, old books, newspaper collage, and foam or paper plates. The book art created can have images without words or narratives without images, and can also be in a sculptural form.
Materials will be provided for the students to create their own projects to take home.
This program will be presented by Ibou Ndoye, artist member of Hoboken’s Hob’art, a
