A dinner series pairing some of Washington's finest, distilleries, breweries and wineries in an intimate setting where guests can meet the maker, learn about the process by which the spirit they are consuming was created. Cocktail Artist and owner of LUCID Lounge, David Pierre Louis, and Chef Unika Noiel have made special visits to the makers to learn and become inspired. Together they have created a unique dinner and cocktail pairing event.
Our first of many nights will consist of Capitol Hill's OOLA Distillery.
Oola Distillery produces small batches of gin, vodka, flavored vodkas and bourbon whiskey. This is the real deal—spirits made with a sense of place and a connection to the people who grew the raw ingredients and the man, Kirby Kallas-Lewis, who coaxed them into their more spirited forms—gins in which you can taste the botanicals, distinctive vodkas, and bourbon whiskey flavorful and smooth.
The night's feast will consist of the following:
Compound butter assortment
(Oola Pepper vodka, Rosemary vodka & gin)
Watermelon Gazpacho (Oola Rosemary vodka)
Bourbon Glazed Chicken (Oola Bourbon)
Potato and parsnip mash
(Oola Pepper Vodka compound butter)
Crème Brulee (Oola Citrus vodka)
