Disruptor Cup Happy Hour
April 2nd 7pm - 9:00pm
The Disruptor Foundation and Rain, in conjunction with the Disruptive Innovation Awards, Bond Strategy and Influence and the Municipal Art Society of New York would like to invite Disruptor Cup participants and interested parties to Disruptor Cup Happy Hour at Rain's office in Chelsea.
This is an opportunity for the NYC civic hacking community to come together, discuss Disruptor Cup projects, network and share tools that can be used to help improve the city.
Rain will be providing refreshments for those interested in attending.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding Disruptor Cup Happy Hour, please reach out to Rain's Products Manager, Doug Crescenzi.
More About Disruptor Cup
The first phase of Disruptor Cup began Monday March 4th, and during this time participants have 30 days to work on their civic projects. Upon completion, participating teams submit their projects for review. The top teams are then selected to move on to the second phase of the hackathon: Disruptor Cup Demo Day.
On Demo Day – scheduled for April 15th – the teams behind the top projects submitted will pitch and demo their creations to a diverse audience of angel investors, venture capitalists, entrepreneurs, city officials, and many others. The winning team will be selected by a panel of judges and awarded the 2013 Disruptor Cup.
