For years, Sascha Ciezata has been making a name for himself though his witty, lo-fi iPhone animations. In 2010 he made a short film using audio of David Lynch talking about an absurd meeting with George Lucas. The video became an instant success, bringing acclaim from Lucas, Lynch and other luminaries. All was going great until an obscure organization claimed ownership of the audio and caused the animation to be removed from the internet.
We'll be screening this now banned classic disposable film and speaking with the filmmaker, as well as screening some of his other incredible shorts.
