Discover Law Day is a collaborative outreach event designed to identify resources and help provide students with skills early in their college career that will assist them with successfully navigating the law school admission process.
Discover Law Day will introduce undergraduate students to the legal profession and offer insight into the law school experience. This event will feature a Diversity Perspectives panel consisting of students and faculty who will share their personal diversity experiences including challenges they have overcome, and what obstacles and opportunities helped shaped their path to law school. Students will also experience a ‘day in the life’ of a law school student as they participate in a first year law class. La Verne Law faculty and students will engage participants in creating a personal Mission Statment. The event will conclude with a luncheon allowing all participants to interact and learn more about each other.
If you have any questions regarding this event, please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org or call (909) 460-2001.
