PLEASE NOTE: You must have your ticket with you, or up on your cell phone along with your school issued ID to receive entry. Tickets are non-transferable. As with ALL events seating is first come first serve and so please arrive early.
We take a larger number of RSVPs than seats available to compensate for the no-show percentage so all seating is first come first serve, however if tickets are sold out you are welcome to show up anyways and you will be seated if room become available.

Roland Emmerich is an international director, producer and screenwriter whose films, including INDEPENDENCE DAY, THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW, 2012, ANONYMOUS, and WHITE HOUSE DOWN have taken in more than $3 billion worldwide. He recently announced plans to write and direct a sequel to his blockbuster film, INDEPENDENCE DAY, which takes place 20 years after the original. He will also direct STONEWALL, a drama about the 1969 Stonewall Riots chronicling the three-day standoff between the police and protesters at the Stonewall Inn in Manhattan's Greenwich Village, widely considered the starting point for the modern gay civil rights movement. In 1996, Emmerich directed INDEPENDENCE DAY which grossed over $800 million worldwide. In quick succession, he released another Hollywood blockbuster, GODZILLA, which he directed and produced. His first Hollywood films were both in 1994, UNIVERSAL SOLDIER and STARGATE. His other film credits include THE PATRIOT, TRADE, DAS ARCHE NOAH PRINZIP, JOEY, MOON 44, EYE OF THE STORM, THE HIGH CRUSADE, THE THIRTEENTH FLOOR, EIGHT LEGGED FREAKS, HELL and the documentary LAST WILL & TESTAMENT. Emmerich began his career in his native Germany, where his first film, a student project called THE NOAH'S ARK PRINCIPLE, played in competition at the 1984 Berlin Film Festival. His television credits are THE VISITOR, GODZILLA: THE SERIES and DARK HORSE In addition, to his work in film and television, Emmerich takes significant time and effort to support a number of charities, including, but not limited to the Gay and Lesbian Education Network, the Outfest Film Festival Los Angeles, the Cambodian Children’s Fund, the Trevor Project, Global Green, and The Gay and Lesbian Center of Los Angeles.
Volker Engel is an Oscar and Emmy Award winning Visual Effects Supervisor who's produced or co-produced several projects with his long-time business partner Marc Weigert which were directed by Roland Emmerich. His work with Mr. Emmerich goes back to 1988 as Visual Effects Supervisor on MOON 44. Mr Engel won an Oscar in 1997 for INDEPENDENCE DAY He and Mr. Weigert co-founded the production company Uncharted Territory, LLC in 1999 to develop and produce their own projects. They both won an Emmy for Best Visual Effects in a Mini Series for THE TRIANGLE which they produced for the SciFi Channel which broke network ratings records in 2005. He teaches Film and Media Production whenever his schedule allows. He is a member of the VES, AMPAS, ATAS, BAFTA and others.
Marc Weigert was Co-producer and VFX Supervisor on Roland Emmerich’s WHITE HOUSE DOWN, and is the CEO of Uncharted Territory, LLC, founded in 1999 with business partner Volker Engel. They've produced features and TV projects, including THE TRIANGLE mini-series for which he received an Emmy Award. Uncharted Territory also provided VFX for THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW and TERMINATOR 3. Mr. Weigert also served as Visual Effects Producer and Supervisor on a multitude of commercials and the ride films. He was previously CEO of Dreamscape Imagery Inc. whose credits include INDEPENDENCE DAY, MUPPETS FROM SPACE, FLUBBER, THE DREW CAREY SHOW and many more. As the VFX Project Manager for INDEPENDENCE DAY, he created the Digital Assistant for Visual Effects, a project management software program to manage, schedule and track the shooting and post production of thousands of VFX elements. His software has subsequently been sold to several major studios, and has been used on many feature films and TV projects. He has lectured at seminars and master classes for many organizations. He has also taught visual effects classes at The Art Institute of Los Angeles, and is a member of the VES and ATAS.
