PHOENIX MONTESSORI ACADEMY & DAVIDSON’S FLATIRON KITCHEN + TAPHOUSE COLLABORATE
An evening of food, wine, and music to raise funds for security
Phoenix Montessori Academy is teaming up with one of Davidson’s finest dining establishments in an effort to raise funds for a monitored keyless entry security system and awnings to protect out-buildings from the elements. Earl Gillon, the General Manager of the Flatiron Kitchen + Taphouse, has graciously opened up the downtown Davidson restaurant for this event that includes a three course wine paired meal, acoustical music and a silent auction. “Community support is integral in small business success… in restaurants, retail, and private schools,” says Gillon. “We are always looking to develop our clientele and to be able to do that while helping a worthwhile non-profit like Phoenix Montessori, well it’s a win-win.”
The dinner will take place on Tuesday March 19, 2013 at the Flatiron Kitchen + Taphouse, located on Main Street, starting at 6:30pm. Auction results will be announced at the close of the evening around 9:00pm. The evening’s three course meal with paired wines are included in the $50 per person ticket price as well as musical entertainment by Jeff Brown and the opportunity to bid on silent auction items. PMA has opened the affair to the public, but seating is limited.
