Please join us at Loving Hut Restaurant for a friendly, casual dinner and a presentation by acclaimed author Will Tuttle, PhD.
Dr. Tuttle's book, The World Peace Diet, is a groundbreaking examination of how our domination of animals impedes peace, and how adopting a vegan ethic and lifestyle promotes compassion throughout society.
Dr. Tuttle is a recipient of the Courage of Conscience Award, a Dharma Master in the Zen tradition, and an accomplished musician and composer.
He will be selling his book (in hardcopy and audio) as well as his original music and nature-inspired art by his wife Madeline. If you already have The World Peace Diet, feel free to bring it by to get it signed.
So that we can tell the restaurant what to expect, we ask that you please RSVP by May 19 if you're planning on joining us. Thanks!
Note: When you "buy" a free ticket for this event, consider that your RSVP; you don't have to do anything more.
Because we expect a full house, to make things easier for Loving Hut, pre-ordering your meal is highly recommended. The restaurant now has its menu online, so you can peruse your choices. Once you've decided what you want, to pre-order, simply email Loving Hut and tell them your name (important) and the dishes you want to order. This will help a lot - thanks!
The approximate schedule for the evening is:
5:30 -- start
6 to 7 -- eat
7 to 8:30 -- presentation (with Q and A)
8:30 to end -- buy merchandise; socialize
This will be very informal and relaxed, but eye-opening and inspiring!
