Dining in the Dark
Saturday, June 26, 2010 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM (EDT)
In its inaugural year, Dining in the Dark promises to be an evening of unmatched elegance. Guests will be treated to stylish cocktails and appetizers as they browse a selection of unique silent auction items. The auction will be followed by a program and delicious meal that will allow guests to experience, if only for an hour, what many individuals who are blind or visually impaired experience every day by Dining in the Dark.
There are six different levels of support to choose from, starting at individual tickets ($125) and going up to the Title Sponsor ($10,000). Benefits to each may be viewed in the expandable ticket description. Choose the level of support that best fits you or your organization and purchase before it's too late.
All proceeds will benefit the Bosma Visionary Opportunities Foundation. The mission of the Foundation is to support programs offered by Bosma Enterprises for individuals who are blind or visually impaired. For the past twenty-one years, Bosma Enterprises has been creating opportunities that lead to the independence and empowerment of people who are blind or visually impaired thoughout the Hoosier state. The agency's primary objectives are to provide rehabilitation, employment training, employment opportunities, and community job placement in an effort to fight the staggering 70% unemployment rate among adults who are blind or visually impaired.
When & Where
Bosma Visionary Opportunities Foundation
The Bosma Visionary Opportunities Foundation was formed in 2009 to support Bosma Enterprises, a nonprofit agency whose mission is to empower people who are blind or visually impaired by creating opportunities that lead to the achievement of each individual's employment, economic, social, and self-determination goals.
Bosma Enterprises has a longstanding history of service to the community of people who are blind or visually impaired dating back to 1915 when it was founded as the Indiana Industrial Home for Blind Men by the State of Indiana. Since that time, Bosma Enterprises has emerged as the only full-service provider in Indiana for people who are blind or visually impaired.
