Dining for Dollars

It is estimated that 1 in 8 Iowans go to bed hungry. This holiday season, you can make a difference in an easy and fun way. Come join us on Thursday, December 2 at Dining for Dollars, a fundraiser for the Northeast Iowa Food Bank. The event will be held at the Cattle Congress's Electric Park Ballroom located at 310 Conger St. in Waterloo.
The event will begin at 7 p.m. and will last until 9 p.m.
Dinner will be salad, breadsticks and spaghetti from Olive Garden, and dessert will be your choice of vanilla or chocolate cake.
Your contribution is important to the community because for every $1 the Food Bank receives, $11.91 worth of food is distributed to the community. This provides food for the hungry individuals and families in 16 counties in Iowa. Come enjoy yourself while helping the 40,000 Northeast Iowa residents who need your help.
Tickets can be purchased on an individual or table basis. Individual tickets are $22, and tables of 8 are $154. You can pay by credit card, mail-in check/cash or at the event. Pre-paying is highly encouraged. Those selecting "pay at the event" are responsible for the amount owed. If the amount is not paid by December 3, you will be billed for the amount.
There are no refunds, and by registering here you agree to pay the amount listed on your ticket and confirmation slip.

Northeast Iowa Food Bank
The mission of the Northeast Iowa Food Bank is to provide nutritious food and grocery products to nonprofit organizations and individuals in Northeast Iowa, while offering hunger education programs to the community and those in need.
For every $1.00 the Food Bank receives,
$11.91 worth of food is distributed to the community.
The NEIFB serves 16 counties in Northeast Iowa. Its service area stretches east to the Mississippi River, north to the Minnesota borderand south to Poweshiek County.
